If you’re fed up of cheap cracker toys but can’t afford the high end deluxe ones, why not make your own? It’s easy - and a perfect way to fill up the Christmas holidays. Making your own Christmas crackers is total child’s play. In fact, it’s a great activity for the kids to get involved in. You can save money, and you can make them totally unique and personal to your guests too. It’s the personal touches that count.
Here at StudioPlay we give you our step by step guide to the perfectpersonalised Christmas Crackers.
1. Find the cracker of your choice, or one you would like to decorate
2. Dismantle the cracker you brought
3. Remove everything from the cracker you don’t like
4. Gold pen over the snowflakes or anything you don’t like about your cracker
5. Personalise the body of the cracker – either glitter initial – glue gun some winter berries on – write a name which can also be used as a table place setting – get the kids to DIY their own
6. Wrap the present you have chosen to go inside
7. Tie up the ends and VOILA - your very own personalised christmas crackers.

If you are feeling really crafty, get out the paints and add some dots, splats and stripes to personalise every single one differently….
